چکیده
This study evaluated the human pulp tissue response following direct capping with Clearfil Protect Bond (CPB) self-etching adhesive containing an antibacterial monomer MDPB. The pulps of third molar teeth were exposed by removal carious tissue. In experimental group, CPB was applied to and dentin. control groups, SE (CSE) or calcium hydroxide-based cement (CH) surfaces. All filled resin composite, extracted after 90 days, responses histologically analyzed. No severe inflammation soft disorganization observed in CH groups. CSE group exhibited a disorganized odontoblastic layer inflammatory infiltration. hard formation formed more than CPB. induced acceptable healing when directly bacterial contamination.

Clinical and Histological Evaluation of Direct Pulp Capping on Human Pulp Tissue Using a Dentin Adhesive System
Objective. This study presents a clinical and histological evaluation of human pulp tissue responses after direct capping using a new dentin adhesive system. Methods. Twenty-eight caries-free third molar teeth scheduled for extraction were evaluated. The pulps of 22 teeth were mechanically exposed and randomly assigned to 1 of 2 groups: Single Bond Universal or calcium hydroxide. Another group ...
متن کاملA histopathological study of direct pulp capping with adhesive resins.
This study evaluated the histological pulp responses of four different adhesive resin systems placed directly on exposed pulp tissue. Gap formation between the respective resin and cavity walls was observed and correlated to the pulpal response. Occlusal cavity preparations creating mechanical pulp exposures were prepared in molars of wistar rats. Preparations were filled using one of the follo...
متن کاملa histopathological study of direct pulp capping with adhesive resins
statement of problem: recently, it has been proposed that different adhesive materials can be used for direct pulp capping. previous studies have demonstrated that multi steps dentin adhesives could form reparative dentin similar to calcium hydroxide (ch). purpose: the aim of this study was to evaluate the histological pulp response of ninety mechanically exposed cat pulps to two adhesive resin...
متن کاملPulp Response following Direct Pulp Capping with Dentin Adhesives and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate; An Animal Study
INTRODUCTION Pulp vitality and its continuous dentin prodution are essential for long-term success of direct pulp capping (DPC). The aim of present study was to evaluate the histopathological response of the canine pulp following DPC using either different dentin adhesive resins (DAR), calcium hydroxide (CH) or mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). METHODS AND MATERIALS DPC was done on 72 dog's t...
متن کاملTissue Response of Dental Pulp in Dogs following Direct Capping with Potassium Nitrate in Polycarboxylate Cement
In 6 dogs, experiments were performed to determine the tissue reaction of the dental pulp at the 7, 30 and 60 days after direct contact of the pulp with the obturation material through a microcommunication orifice with diameter up to 1 mm, formed in the fundic part of an experimental cavity. Capping of 36 mandibular premolars with traumatically exposed pulp was carried out. On the exposed pulp,...
